This is the "Yumeguri Butai" (Hot Spring Tour Stage) located in Yunokawa-cho, Hakodate City. It's situated at an intersection right next to the Yunokawa Onsen tram stop, making it easily accessible!

This popular footbath is used not only by tourists visiting Yunokawa Onsen, but also by elderly people, students returning from club activities, and other residents of nearby Hakodate.

Yunokawa Onsen is a historic hot spring town with hotels and inns lining the coastline.

The "Hot Spring Hopping Stage" is located right next to the hot spring town, so it would be nice to stop by the footbath while you're visiting these hot springs.

Also, just a few minutes' walk from the Yunokawa Onsen tram stop is the Hakodate Arena, which opened in 2015 and frequently hosts a variety of events, including sporting events and concerts by artists.

After the event, instead of heading straight back to the hotel, why not take a short detour and enjoy a soak in a hot spring?

The park is home to approximately 300 species of tropical plants, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful flowers throughout the seasons. In addition, it is home to adorable animals such as budgies and red-eared sliders.

Furthermore, the park boasts excellent facilities for young children, including a "Water Plaza" where they can play in the water, battery-powered cars that can be ridden for 50 yen per ride, and a playground with various play equipment, making it the perfect place for families to relax and unwind.

Additionally, the Bay Area has a high concentration of restaurants.

In addition to restaurants and ice cream shops, you'll find popular casual eateries like Lucky Pierrot, which boasts nationwide recognition for its Hakodate-style burgers, and Hasegawa Store, which sells "yakitori bento" (grilled chicken bento boxes) made with pork instead of chicken. There are also popular shops like Starbucks with a lovely waterfront location.

Hakodate daytime view
Hakodate, with its charming scenery of historic churches and cobblestone streets, is a perfect city for strolling, but walking around all day can tire your feet.

All the footbaths in Hakodate are located within popular tourist spots and are free of charge (although the footbath inside the botanical garden requires an entrance fee to the botanical garden, visitors to the facility can use it freely).

There's no reason not to take advantage of the footbath, where you can relax and soothe your tired feet while also interacting with the locals!
