Photo Contest Winners Announcement
From the many entries we received, the Hokkaido Lab editorial team agonized over the selection process and chose the following: one Grand Prize winner and ten Honorable Mentions!
1nd Photo Contest Grand Prize Winning Entry

In Tsubetsu Town
"Last September, I unexpectedly encountered a sea of clouds at Tsubetsu Pass. I will never forget the emotion and excitement I felt."
by Niiyan
It's a truly spectacular sight, one that can only be seen when several geographical and meteorological conditions align.
This is the kind of vast beauty that only Hokkaido can offer!
The grand prize winner, Niiyan, will receive a luxurious seafood set (worth 2 yen)!
