1. Introducing all 8 courses!

1-1. [Before you start skiing] First, head to the center house!

Nanae Snow Park Center House

First, let's head to the center house to buy lift and gondola tickets!

You can rent ski and snowboard equipment, as well as ski wear, so you can enjoy winter sports even if you come empty-handed!

Inside the center house, in addition to changing rooms and locker rooms, there is also a shop that sells items such as gloves, goggles, and neck warmers.

1-2. [Beginner] Konuma Course / Onuma Course

1rd Pair Lift

The beginner-friendly Konuma and Onuma courses are located next to each other, separated by the first pair lift. Both courses have an average slope of 6 degrees, making them recommended for families and beginners.

Konuma/Onuma Course

The Onuma course on the left in the photo is wide, allowing you to ski slowly and leisurely.
The Konuma course, pictured on the right, is a dynamic course where you can ski down approximately 1000 meters of slope in one go.

1-3. [Beginner] Shirakaba Course, Karamatsu Course, Family Course

Shirakaba, Karamatsu, and Family Course

From here, we'll take one of Japan's longest gondolas to the course.

The Shirakaba course on the left of the photo offers a course that can be enjoyed for both gentle and steep sections.
The Karamatsu course in the center of the photo allows you to leisurely ski down the gentle slopes of the forest, while the Family course on the right of the photo is a wide course perfect for practicing skiing and snowboarding.

1-4. [Intermediate] Champion Course / Challenge Course

Champion Challenge Course

The Champion Course, pictured on the left, is reached via the Shirakaba Course. It has fewer moguls, making it a great course for speedy skiing.
The Challenge Course on the right in the photo is perfect for those who want to enjoy untouched, natural powder snow and slopes!

High-speed lift

At the end of the Challenge Course, you'll find a high-speed four-person lift. The 1766-meter-long lift is equipped with a hood, so you won't have to worry about the cold while riding!

1-5. Observation decks along the course

Observatory

There are observation decks near the top, such as the "Observation Hill" next to the high-speed lift disembarking point on the left of the photo, and next to the gondola's terminal station. Both locations have maps of the surrounding area, and on a clear day, you can even see Uchiura Bay and Muroran City!

1-6. [Advanced] Todomatsu Course

Todomatsu Course

The Todomatsu course, which branches off from the Shirakaba course, is a course for advanced skiers where you can enjoy ungroomed powder snow and natural, unspoiled terrain.

By taking a variety of courses from the mountaintop to the base, you can enjoy long-distance skiing of up to approximately 4 kilometers!
Hakodate Nanae Snow Park is an attractive ski resort that everyone can enjoy, from beginners to advanced skiers!

2. Peak café

Breast

On October 29, 2016, Peak Café opened at the summit of Nanae Snow Park!
You can enjoy delicious food in a stylish setting while leisurely gazing at Mount Komagatake. This new spot is perfect for those who don't ski or snowboard, as it offers stunning views from the mountaintop.

We also offer a package plan that includes a round-trip gondola ticket (available only on weekdays), so why not relax at the mountaintop cafe and fully enjoy the world of frost-covered trees?

3. Restaurant Koma / Foothills Cafe

Restaurant Koma / Foothills Cafe

There are restaurants where you can enjoy meals not only at the summit, but also at the foot of the mountain!

At Restaurant Koma, located on the second floor of the Kids Room at the foot of the Family Course, you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, including a weekly changing Chinese set meal, as well as dishes like shrimp chili and stir-fried noodles with thick sauce, all while overlooking the ski slopes.

If you're craving noodles like ramen or udon, or curry, head to the Foothills Cafe located across from the Center House!

4. Kids' Room/Kids' Park

Kids' Room and Kids' Park

The kids' room and kids' park are popular attractions for families visiting Nanae Snow Park.

The kids' park is a space where children can play with sleds and mini-skis, and it's enclosed with netting, so it feels safe.

When your kids get tired of playing outside, they can head to the kids' room, which is available with parental supervision! The best part is that both are free to use.

5. Shuttle bus

Shuttle bus

There's a free shuttle bus service to and from Onuma Station! It takes about 20 minutes from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station to Onuma Station, and then another 15 minutes by shuttle bus, so you can enjoy Hokkaido's ski slopes in just about 35 minutes after arriving in Hokkaido by Shinkansen!

If you register with a ski school in advance, you can also receive private lessons, so if this is your first time experiencing winter sports, why not give it a try?
