3. Sushi restaurant Takadai

Are you aware of the "Yatai Village" that opened in Otaru some time ago, a place where you can enjoy various types of cuisine from several different shops?
"Sushi Restaurant Takadai" is the most popular sushi restaurant in that food stall village, and it's always full, making it difficult to get in without a reservation. It's a very highly regarded sushi restaurant.
"Sushi Restaurant Takadai," recommended by locals for its delicious and affordable food, is located in a corner of "Yatai-mura Renga Yokocho," a retro-style street with a modern urban atmosphere that somehow evokes the Showa era, as shown in the picture.
Many customers come from all over Hokkaido, and even from Honshu, after hearing about the restaurant's reputation. Once you taste it, you're sure to become a repeat customer!

Because it's a standing-only restaurant, you can enjoy interacting with other customers, so you can enjoy not only the taste but also the sense of community.
The owner of this restaurant is from "Ise Sushi," which I mentioned earlier, so some people say that his sushi-making and customer service are exceptional.
That's how you can really feel the authentic taste and the owner's personality.

4. Takara Sushi
The exterior has a very stylish design, which is quite different from the traditional image of a sushi restaurant that we usually have in mind.
Furthermore, it's not located in what's commonly known as a sushi street or in a touristy area, so it could be called a hidden gem. It has an excellent reputation among locals and is truly a sushi restaurant known only to those in the know.
The staff serve customers in a gentle and soft manner, making it a place where you can easily feel at ease.

Takara Sushi, where you can enjoy nigiri sushi with just the right size rice and fresh toppings, is a popular restaurant where it's difficult to get a reservation, so we recommend booking well in advance.
