1. Let us introduce the charms of Sahoro Resort Ski Area!
Sahoro Resort Ski Area is located on an east-facing slope, so it's bright from the morning, and you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding in an open and spacious environment.
This is a place where you can enjoy the luxury of having the entire Sahoro-dake mountain (1,060m) transformed into a ski resort.
With an elevation difference of approximately 600m and a longest run of about 3km, the intermediate course is suitable for high-speed cruising.
You'll want to ski down many, many runs throughout the day.
Unlike heavy snowfall areas, Sahoro has less moisture. Therefore, you can enjoy light, high-quality down snow!
The slope layout features many beginner courses on the left side as you face the slope, and it's designed so you can descend even from the mountaintop.
Therefore, even beginners can enjoy it immensely. (This is one of the things I rate highly!)
From various perspectives, the slope layout is appealing and enjoyable for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers.
The scenery is also spectacular; on a clear day, you can see the entire Tokachi Plain.
If you're lucky, you might even get to see a "sun pillar," which appears at sunset or sunrise, so why not try to spot one during your stay?
~Recommendations for Girls' Trips~
What I want you to enjoy most on a girls' trip is "snowy mountain sightseeing."
Of course, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the slopes, but don't you think creating memories that are unique to a girls' trip is also an important point?
So, let me introduce a few suggestions for a girls' trip you can create at Sahoro Resort.
Many variations are possible, so please try different combinations!
Tips for a girls' trip #1: Enjoy the snow to the fullest!
You might be wondering, "What should I do to fully enjoy the snow?" But the answer is very simple! Just "return to your childlike self and have fun."
Playing while thinking about what you want to do is something you naturally acquire as an adult.
If you strip away all inhibitions and just let yourself go like a kid, all sorts of snow activities you want to try will start popping into your head.
It seems simple, but it's surprisingly difficult. However, you can definitely do it with close friends! Give it a try!
Tips for a girls' trip #2: Don't just head straight down; stop by and take photos in various poses.
Sahoro has many great spots for taking photos.
Photographs are something that can bring back precious memories that you don't want to forget, aren't they?
To create lasting memories at Sahoro, instead of skiing straight down, try to find the best spot.
If you find one, try taking a photo expressing your "This is the best time ever!" feeling with your whole body!
It's something that's hard to do unless you're with like-minded friends, so please try taking photos in all sorts of different locations!
So many characters have appeared in this unexpected place!? Stay tuned to see what will be there this year♪
2. Introduction to Tokachi Sahoro Resort
Tokachi Sahoro Resort is located at the foot of Mount Sahoro, and its main appeal is that you can enjoy a completely hassle-free stay without needing to worry about anything.
The resort has fireplaces, allowing guests to enjoy drinks or read in warm rooms.
Evenings often bring a lot of free time, making it difficult to decide what to do, but simply warming yourself by the fireplace seems like a pleasant way to spend the evening.
There are four types of rooms in total.
The north-facing rooms feature furniture and closets made from locally sourced timber and produced at local sheltered workshops. The south-facing rooms are spacious and perfect for families or friends to relax in. In addition, there are four limited-edition comfort rooms and two limited-edition garden rooms.
With its diverse settings and meticulous design, you can feel the vast natural beauty of Hokkaido no matter which room you choose.
We also have rooms that are comfortable for long-term stays, so you're sure to be able to relax and unwind!
And something I would definitely recommend you try is the cheese fondue.
This dish uses a cheese called "raclette," which becomes even more delicious when heated.
Cheese fondue is a special menu item available only in winter, so it's a great way to gather with friends and family and enjoy a fun meal!
The original goods exclusive to Tokachi Sahoro are super cute!!
When you think of Tokachi Sahoro, you naturally think of "bears."
These original goods, which let you see at a glance where you've traveled, are definitely something you'll want to get your hands on.
We have a wide selection of goods that make great souvenirs, including mugs, tote bags, stuffed animals, and rice crackers.
When you visit Sahoro, be sure to stop by the souvenir shops!

Final thoughts
Hokkaido has areas with heavy snowfall, areas where it snows heavily all at once followed by several days of sunshine, and other areas where it snows day after day, causing roads to be closed at least once a week.
It's not always the case that a lot of snow is good! Tokachi has a relatively high number of sunny days, making it excellent for skiing.
When the conditions are right—good weather and high-quality snow—Sahoro Resort Ski Resort offers an unparalleled level of fun, so let's have a blast!
