1. Sweet shops in Obihiro that you can reach by bicycle
1-1 Rokkatei

Rokkatei continues to offer products at reasonable prices that even children can afford with their allowance.
Many people have probably received souvenirs wrapped in wrapping paper featuring beautiful illustrations of Hokkaido flowers drawn by Naoyuki Sakamoto.
The main store of Rokkatei is located in Obihiro.
At our main store, we carry not only our standard products such as "Marusei Butter Sandwiches," "Ofutari de," and "Beko Mochi," but also many rare and elusive items that can only be found here.

The "Crispy Pie," famous for being available only at the Obihiro and Sapporo main stores.

The famous Marusei Butter Sandwich has been transformed into an ice cream treat: "Marusei Ice Sandwich."
Located very close to Obihiro Station, it's the perfect starting point for cycling in Obihiro.
Let's grab a bite to eat here and then head out for a bike ride full of energy!

1-2 Donut Lab

Donut Lab is a small shop located a little away from the bustling downtown area of Obihiro.
It's located about 1.4km from the Rokkatei main store, along a shopping street lined with famous shops in Obihiro.
It's a small shop, so it's a little hard to find, but when you do find it, just finding it makes you happy—it's a cute little green building.

The shop is bright, and a sweet, pleasant scent fills the entire space.
Donut Lab is a shop started by the owner with the desire to create safe and secure snacks that he would even feed to his own children.
They have a deep commitment to their ingredients, and most of them are sourced from Hokkaido and Tokachi.
No preservatives or additives are used.
Made with local ingredients and crafted with love, these donuts bring a smile to everyone's face with every bite.
Everyone is surprised when they try Donut Lab's donuts because they're not greasy at all.
This is because they are very particular about the oil used as an ingredient, and they use a superior oil that adheres to the donut dough 70% less than regular salad oil.
Donuts can feel heavy and make it difficult to eat them all, often leading to the feeling that "one is enough." However, Donut Lab's donuts are easy to eat and less taxing on the body, so you'll find yourself gobbling them down one after another, and before you know it, you've eaten three, four...
Donut Lab's delicious donuts will bring a big, round smile to your face.

Harukoma Bakery is located about 5km from the center of Obihiro.
This bakery is easily recognizable by the red lettering that reads HB (Harukoma Bakery).

The interior is warm and inviting, with the warmth of wood palpable and sunlight streaming in through the large windows.
The owners, a husband and wife, are both from Honshu, and Hokkaido was a place they had longed to visit since their days as bakers.
Having fulfilled my dream and opened my shop, I aspire to be the bakery closest to Tokachi's wheat farmers, and I spend my days experimenting and refining my techniques to express Tokachi wheat through bread.

Their baguettes and other breads are extremely popular, attracting not only local customers but also many visitors from far away, so some items sell out early in the day.
This is truly a bakery that loves its hometown of Tokachi and is loved by Tokachi.

The most famous product is the uniquely shaped Baumkuchen called "Sanporoku," which has become synonymous with Hokkaido souvenirs.
In addition, there are plenty of seasonal and uniquely designed products available.
The Ryūgetsu factory, "Sweetopia Garden," is located in Otofuke Town, Tokachi. There you can find limited-edition products that can only be bought there, take a factory tour, and even experience making sweets.

2-2 COWCOW Cafe

While you may have seen vegetables growing in fields, you probably haven't seen livestock like cows and pigs being raised in barns. Ohno Farm was opened with the owner's desire to make livestock farming more accessible and encourage people to visit the farm casually.

This is a fantastic viewpoint with large windows offering panoramic views of vast fields. You can even see the Tokachi mountain range.
At the cafe, you can enjoy hamburgers, steaks, curry, sausages, stews, and more, all made with beef, wheat, potatoes, and fresh vegetables from Ohno Farm, which are carefully selected for their products.
After your meal, you can enjoy parfaits, soft serve ice cream, affogato, and more.

This stylish cafe has an open and airy atmosphere where you can relax and unwind.

2-3 Wemonshart

If you see a cute building with a yellow exterior in the middle of the forest, that's Wemondsheart.
It's about 12km from Sweetopia Garden. Leaving the bustling shopping street in front of the station, you'll be captivated by the magnificent scenery typical of Tokachi, and before you know it, you've arrived.
Originally, the couple ran a ranch together.
Hoping to give people a chance to think about life and food, they started accepting visitors to the farm.
It quickly garnered a huge response, and many customers came to visit.
The number is increasing year by year, and along with that,
Voices began to spread saying, "I want to try the milk from the farm!" and "I want to try dairy products like ice cream!"
Wemonsheart was created in response to those requests.

We are extremely particular about the ingredients we use.
Of course, the milk is used, but the fruits and vegetables used for flavoring are also home-grown or organically grown without pesticides.
We are particularly committed to using ingredients from Tokachi, and our gelato allows you to savor the flavors of each season.

Enjoy the rich flavor of fresh milk in the middle of a vast landscape, a gift from Tokachi's nature.
If you go by bicycle, the deliciousness will spread even more deeply, satisfying your parched throat and tired body.
